Tag collection
# of volunteers: 2
1 person will take the tear-off tag from the runner (the tear-off tag is a perforated section of lower part of the number each runner is wearing) and hand it to the 2nd person, who will place it onto the “stringer” (a metal hook for collecting the tags), they are holding. NOTE: the tags should be collected and placed on the stringer One At A Time - not in groups. The tags should all be placed on the stringer “face” down. The stringer(s) will be provided.
Stacker

The persons assigned to this area will maintain to correct order of finish as the runners cross over the finish line, issue instruction for the runners to remove their tags, and issue blank tags if necessary. The blank tag will be provided and are given to those finishers who do not have a bib number or may have disposed of their tear-off tag.
Timer
# of volunteers: 2
2 are needed per finish line. The “Timers” time each runner as they cross the finish. The “Select Timers” time runners randomly – 4-5 runners per minute (inputting a specific number the runner is wearing and their specific time). The time machines will be provided as well as a demonstration of the procedures.
