Course Volunteers High Priority

Details

Approximately 15 volunteers needed at different points along the course route to direct runners and walkers keeping them on course. Be a key player in keeping the excitement and momentum going on course. You could even make banners and posters with silly sayings (not required). Duties include being silly, cheering, encouraging — anything to bring out a smile on our runners faces! Standing for long periods of time is required — high energy is encouraged.

Water Station Volunteers High Priority

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Approximately 5 volunteers needed to run our water stations. One water station will be set up along the course and the other will be at the finish line. This key role is not just about providing hydration support — but moral support and excitement! As runners travel the course, they may get fatigued; but with your smiling face and cheering attitude, you will revive them! Duties include filling and stacking cups with water, restocking cups throughout the course of the morning, handing water to runners as they come by, and finally cleaning up the area (cups) when the last runner passes.

Registration Volunteers High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Approximately 3 Volunteers needed to get participants checked in for the race. This is the first stop for runners and walkers as they pick up their race packet. Duties include organizing/handing out shirts, preparing goodie bags, assigning runners/walkers their bib number, greeting participants with smiles and event guides, answering questions/providing race information.

Clean Up Volunteers High Priority

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

About 10 volunteers needed to help with cleanup before and/or after the race. Set-up and Clean-up: When it is all said and done, and we have to say good-bye to our great event until next year, we need volunteers to help tear down the registration area. Duties include taking down signs, cleaning trash from the surrounding area.
