You can run the course or ride your bike to make sure all of the Indy Races participants have crossed the finish line.

Turn Around Point High Priority

Details

We need at least 3 people for the turnaround points.
1) one person for the 1-mile turnaround point
2) one person for the 5K turnaround point
3) one person for the 10K turnaround point

Hand Out Race Medals High Priority

September 19, 2026

Details

We need at least 8 people to hand out race medals as our participants cross the finish line.

Aid Station Attendants High Priority

September 19, 2026

Details

There will be at least 2 aid stations. We need at least one person at each station to fill cups and hand them to runners as they pass by.

Cheer on Runners High Priority

September 19, 2026

Details

Cheer on runners as they run around the lake to raise money for families affected by pediatric cancer.

Location

1. Start and finish line at 3400 SE Leisure Lane, Lake Shawnee, Topeka.
2. Any point around the lake because we have over 20 runners running around the entire lake
