Details

This assignment involves directing runners into several available parking lots near the race start. We will meet at 7 AM for instructions and assignments, then take up positions at the parking lots. Since the races start at 10 AM, we will done with our assignments by 9:45 AM.

NOTE: You will be asked later in this signup procedure if you are running in the races. If so, we will assign you to the closest lot to the start, and you will be free to leave by 9:30, so that you can get ready for your race.

Finish Line Directions (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

Details

There are four events, all beginning at 10 AM: 10K, half-marathon, marathon, and marathon relay. Our task is to control and direct the runners in the events as they complete their 10K or first 13.1-mile loop, so that the 10K runners and half-marathoners turn to the finish line, while the marathoners and marathon relay runners continue on to start their second loop. We will meet at 10:00 AM for instructions, and then be positioned along the last quarter-mile of the course to direct the runners.
