Park in the boat ramp parking lot. You will be given a bright neon vest to wear. Stand/sit at the entrance to the parking lot and just help us make sure that as runners come through on the sidewalk and cross over the entrance, they are aware of any cars coming in and out. You cannot stop cars but you can stop and/or warn runners if they are about to cross and a car isn't stopping or paying attention. The goal is to avoid anyone getting hit.

That trail will go all the way around the back of the dog park and eventually get to this water station. We may be able to meet these volunteers at the dog park and use our vehicle (special permission only) to drive back.

$150 stipend paid to this position. EMS (Medic or EMT), Nurse, Doctor, Police, First Responder, Fire, Military, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, etc. If you have a certification in CPR & First Aid, you're good to go. We provide a bright vest and med pack plus instruction.
