Boat 1: Start at the Houston beach and follow the last kayak / canoe down the Root River.
Confirm all paddlers have exited this leg of the race.
Boat 2: Mound Prairie Boat Landing
Provide assistance to distressed boaters
Cheer on racers!

Boat Launch High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Race starts at 8:30 am with a staggered start, heats of 10 every 5 minutes. Approximate last boat launch will be 9:10 am.
Assist racers with unloading, carrying their kayak/canoe to the beach.
Help racers to get organized in heats
Take Photos
Cheer on racers
Once all boats are launched clean beach area of any litter and race markers.
