Monitor critical locations on the course. Help keep participants safe and cheer them on. This is an outside job. Please dress appropriately for the conditions.

Technique Control

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Monitor classic technique control zones. Should be familiar technique rules. On course for the classic races (Classic 5K and in classic sprint relays years). Can return to stadium in between.

Relay Zone Management

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist in managing and controlling fair and legal exchanges in the relay zone.

Specialty: Medical, Snowmobile, Announcer, Photographer

Medical Team

Details

Provide medical assistance on the course and start/finish areas. Medical volunteers are approved and scheduled by the Loppet Medical Director. A range of medical training and backgrounds are acceptable and helpful including MD, RN, EMT, AT, Residents and ski/bike patrols. Please answer the medical question during volunteer signup.

Announcer

Details

Announce finishers as they cross the line, provide instruction to participants in the stadium, sponsor statements. Staff will prepare script and notes. Experience and comfort on a microphone and audio equipment is a plus.

Photographer

Details

Looking for an enthusiast photographer to capture pictures of the event. You can use any device you may have as we do not have one to provide. After the event submit pictures to marketing team for Loppet Foundation use (we'll give you photo credit for any photos we use!)

Help setup signs and arrows for the race courses. May work by snowmobile so please dress warmly. Need to be familiar with Wirth Park trail system and comfortable driving or riding on snowmobiles.
