We will have many volunteer opportunities on Friday April 17 and Saturday April 18. Volunteer tasks will be assigned to groups of varying sizes based on workload.
We are seeking groups of:
• 5 volunteers – $200 stipend
• 10 volunteers – $400 stipend
• 20 volunteers – $800 stipend
Time Commitment:
Volunteer shifts are typically 4 hours depending on the assignment.
Friday shifts: Between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM (most group roles are afternoon/evening)
Saturday shifts: Between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM (primarily morning assignments)

• Food Packing Prep
• Packet Pickup
• Awards & Door Prizes
• Race Reset
• Expo Setup, Support & Takedown
• Door Greeters
• Kids 1K & 5K Run Course
• Kids 1K & 5K Finisher Medals
• 5K Water Stops
• Kids 1K & 5K Backup Timer
• Kids 1K & 5K Post Race Food & Drinks
• Kids 1K Corral Support
SATURDAY
• Door Greeters
• Packet Pickup
• 1/2 Marathon & Relay Run Course (Downtown, Riverside, Southside, St. Cloud State University, Clearwater Road, and the Golf Course)
• 1/2 Marathon Relay Exchange
• 1/2 Marathon Timing Mat
• Event Tear Down
• 1/2 Marathon Backup Timer
• 1/2 Marathon Water Stops
• 1/2 Marathon Bike Support
• 1/2 Marathon & Relay Finisher Medals
• 1/2 Marathon & Relay Post Race Food & Drink
• Awards & Door Prizes
Location
Each group will have a volunteer guide, work instructions, and a work location. Active Central MN will proactively seek clubs, sports teams, and organizations from area high schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations to engage in this enriching community experience.
