Details

Lot attendants watch over and take care of all vehicles in parking areas around the Zoo. They maintain order and direct vehicles in and out of the parking area as needed. In addition, will assist in getting guests from parking lots that need a ride to the event front gate and back.

Sell raffle tickets to guests. First shift, work the VIP table selling raffles. Second shift, circulate around event in pairs to help sell tickets. If roaming, raffle sign on stick to hold.

Details

Maintain garbage cans around the perimeter of the event. Check bathrooms to make sure they are tidy and well stocked. Check beer tables for overflow buckets, table rags, and ice needs. Maintain cleanliness of tables in food area.

Note: In order to increase interest for the second shift, second shift volunteers will be put into a raffle for a Billings Trail Net goodie basket after checking in for their shift on the day of the event. Winner will be drawn the following business day and contacted by an Ales for Trails committee member.

Volunteers will check in participants to the Silent Disco area by handing them headphones. Before the guest exits, volunteers will take headphones from guest and wipe them down. At the end of the night, headphones need to be accounted for and organized into the shipment tote.

Details

Serve beer from various vendors during the event. THIS POSITION REQUIRES TIPS CERTIFICATION. Check your confirmation email for details.

Upon arrival, you will be assigned to a vendor to assist them throughout your shift. Tasks including but not limited to:
-Pulling beer
-Monitoring ice
-Keeping area tidy
-Engaging with guests
-Encouraging guests to vote for their favorite beer of choice

TIPS CERTIFICATION TRAINING > Local training through the Billings PD, $15. 8/1 or 8/22 at 5:30 PM, details will be provided after signing up via email.
