***THIS IS A 2-PERSON JOB. YOU MUST HAVE A TRUCK TO DRIVE TO LOAD CONES, TABLES, AND WATER JUGS INTO THE BED OF YOUR TRUCK***

Duty includes one person driving and another loading up the course cones and aid station tables/trash for ~6 miles, until reaching 5480 Sourdough Rd. Once you reach this address (Casey's house), connect with the 10K sweeper to let them know they can begin their sweep.

Please only sign up as a 2 person party. This is not an individual sign up.

Unload all collected cones , aid and gear at 5480 Sourdough Rd.

Course Runner Sweep - Half Marathon High Priority

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

The course runner sweep follows the last runner/walker of the Half Marathon race. This role maintains communication to aid stations as they pass through, allowing them to wrap up their volunteer duties. Additionally, this role is cognizant of the 4-hour time limit and if the last runner/walker is not yet through the Kagy/Willson intersection by 12:00pm, you must communicate to them to move to the sidewalk to finish the remainder of the race.
