Race Day Setup; Start & Finish Line

Work with race director to set up start line, sound system etc. at start line (Main Street) and move down to Caras Park to help set up finish line.

Bike Valet Monitor

Details

You will be responsible for collecting bikes, organizing them in the designated area, recording ticket information for each bike, and returning bikes to the owners.

Meet at RWM HQ; 125 E Main St. where you will be directed to your location

Saturday, During Race

Course Monitor

August 22, 2026

Details

Stop/slow traffic where necessary and direct participants along course route. You will receive your course monitor assignment the week of the event and will communicate directly with course coordinator on the morning of the event.

Location

Check in at Run Wild HQ; 125 E Main St where you will receive safety vest and necessary signage/flagging before heading out to your monitor post.

Sweepers

Details

Sweep behind last runners in event. Release course monitors and aid station volunteers from posts and remove course marking materials.

Location

Race Start, Run Wild Missoula 125 E. Main St. . Check in with course director to receive a safety vest.

Saturday, Post-Race

Tear Down & Equipment Return

August 22, 2026

Details

Assist with tear down of start/finish area, load equipment onto UHaul and assist with return of equipment to RWM storage unit. This does involve some heavy lifting.

Location

Finish Line; We will begin tear down at Caras Park & then head out to 125 E. Main St. where RWM storage is located. There we will unload race equipment from Uhaul.
