We need at least 11 people (ideally more) to assist with participates racers during the race. Volunteers will be assigned a location at a junction in the course. You will be provided chalk (To draw a big arrow in the street) and also a sign to place. There are 11 spots we will need people. If you'd like to hang out with a group of volunteers please email MadPark5K@gmail to let me know. I'll be sure to schedule folks together that want to be together. Please have everyone in the group signed up as a volunteer though so I can keep track!
Please be present at 7:15AM. You won't need to stay at your assigned location for the entire race. Once the main pack of runners/walkers goes by you can make a judgement call if people are relying on you for directions. Please be sure to have the turn well marked with chalk.
