Control Traffic and Direct Runners - 5K High Priority

Details

Located at an intersection that runners have to cross. Will have a stop sign and may need to stop any cars when runners are present. This route does not cross any high traffic areas so there will be a minimal amount of traffic stopping. You will also direct runners to which direction they should go.

5K Event is from 10:00- 11:30 (or sooner). Volunteers must check in at 9:30 so that we can get them to their locations before the start of the race. The Beer Mile starts at 12:00. It would be possible to volunteer for both events if you are able, we would love that!

Direct Runners - 5K Medium Priority

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Located at a spot on the course that runners need to turn and will point them in the direction they need to go.

5K Event is from 10:00- 11:30 (or sooner). Volunteers must check in at 9:30 so that we can get them to their locations before the start of the race. The Beer Mile starts at 12:00. It would be possible to volunteer for both events if you are able, we would love that!

Direct Runners - Beer Mile Medium Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

You will be placed on the Beer Mile course and will direct runners on where they need to turn.

The Beer Mile starts at 12:00. Volunteers must check in at 11:30 so that we can get them to their locations before the start of the race.

Beer Tender - Beer Mile Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Will be in the transition area where the Beer Mile participants must drink the beers and discard them. It will be your job to retrieve the discarded beers (they will be throwing them onto pillows in totes) as well as prepare the next laps beers and keep the transition area clean and flowing.

The Beer Mile starts at 12:00. Volunteers must check in at 11:30.

Registration and Packet Pick Up Medium Priority
