Greet athletes, direct to appropriate registration/packet pickup line. Distribute registration packets to athletes, explaining the packet contents, verify that all registration information is correct, making changes as necessary. Distribute t-shirts, bib, and check athlete bags.

Aid Station 1 (Sports Boosters) High Priority

Set-up feed zone, distribute water, Gatorade and food to athletes as they run by. This is a fast-paced area! Tear-down at the end, clean area.

Runners pass twice (Miles 2 & 12)
*Only distribute sports gels to Half marathon runners

Job Description for water stations

• Volunteers to pour water/sports drink and space out on the table.
• Assign some volunteers picking up garbage as the day progresses “keep the station neat”.
• Place garbage cans down road so that runners can throw empty cups in cans.

Station Table Layout
• Two table for each water station.
• For water, fill up cups from the gallon jugs about 2/3 full. Make sure to have table filled with cups before first runner. Space cups out so the runners can easily grab.
• Mix sports drink in the 7 gallon coolers. Follow instructions on label, each makes six gallons of mix. Use the long stir stick to mix for 2 to 3 minutes. Fill cups 2/3 full, and please be sure to have table filled with cups before first runner.
• If Gels are included with station materials, please place on tables. (Only stations 2, 4, & 5 with have gels)

2 Stations – Corner of Maples Rd and Kent Rd (station 2). Second station on Hencoop (station 5)– Move to 300 feet down Hencoop after last runner passes station 2 at 11:50. First runner at station 5 approx 11:45.

Runners pass mile 3 on Maples & Kent. Runners pass station on Hencoop twice (miles 9 & 10)
