Welcome runners and ask if preregistered. Direct those who are preregistered to table to pick up bib and T-shirt.
Direct Day-of-Race registrants to a kiosk to sign up and pay with credit card or may pay cashier. Indicate posted course map. Answer questions. Direct to Day-of-Race table.

At START: Control crowds, keep runners and spectators off lawns. Discourage parking in angled spaces (except for handicapped spaces)
At Finish: Direct runners to water and fruit, and medical attention. Control number of waters taken. Keep runners and spectators off lawns.

COURSE MARSHAL

Details

Check in at Lighthouse and pick up a vest and flag. Direct runners on course. Keep spectators off course. Assist runners or spectators who may need assistance. Carry cell phone for any emergency.

WATER STATION

July 6, 2024

Details

Pour cups of water in anticipation. Hold out cup of water by top lip. Do not impede runners. Pick up cups without getting in the way of the runners/walkers.

Location

On both sides of street at HotsPoint, at beginning of Greig Street. Parking available there. .

PARKING

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Monitor parking in 3 grassy lots at Fire Dept intersection, Bay and N. Ontario St. Encourage parking close together. We start with the lot opposite the Fire Hall on the northwest corner; we then use the one cater-corner from that on the southeast side in front of the Methodist Church. If we need more parking we can direct people to the lot on the northeast corner (where the large Lighthouse sign is), but that’s tricky because of the trees. Arrive by ........AM. Stay until lots are full or the start of race.
