Set-Up High Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Set-Up Volunteers are important as you help to ensure the event is ready to open at the designated time for our families to come and celebrate with us.

Schedule and commitment:
• 7:00 a.m. through 10 a.m. (event start)

Tasks and Skills:
• Unload any vehicles with supplies or resource materials,
• move and set up tables and chairs,
• put up signs and banners,
• set up in other areas, and
• making sure everything is in place and ready to go.

Jobs will be assigned after talking with volunteers to discuss what would be best.

This position is very active and will need people who can carry heavier weight and walk some distance around Lock 3.

Location

Cuyahoga Falls Downtown Amphitheater

Tear-Down and Clean-Up High Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 15 more volunteers needed.

Details

Tearing down tables, chairs, signs, walk route, etc.
Cleaning up of the Amphitheater and debris on the walk routes.

Schedule and commitment:
• 11:30 a.m. for check-in. Break down begins at 12:00 p.m. and goes until 2:00 p.m. or unless finished sooner.

Tasks and Skills:
• Load vehicles with supplies or resource materials
• Break down tables and chairs and move them
• Take down signs and banners at the main event area
• Take down signs and banners along the walk routes
• General clean-up of the ground and other areas

This position is highly active and will need people who can carry heavier weight and walk some distance throughout event area and walk routes.

Location

Cuyahoga Falls Downtown Amphitheater and surrounding streets

Walk Route Monitors Medium Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 35 more volunteers needed.

Details

This role is to hold signs to direct people on the walk route.

Volunteers will also be assigned to high traffic areas along the route to ensure participant safety. Volunteers will not be authorized to stop traffic.

Time commitment: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m..

Participants will begin the Walk at 11:00 a.m. and volunteers will need to have their place prior to this start time.

Event Greeters / PEP Team Medium Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

This role will have you welcoming participants as they arrive and directing them to specific areas of the event. You will also be sharing information about the event and answering questions.

Volunteers will also serve as the cheering section for all participants, both at the beginning of the walk and at the finish line.

Schedule and commitment:
• 9 a.m. check-in and training/ area assignment, and then being in place by 9:30 a.m. for any early participant arrivals.

This position is great for volunteer groups, sports teams, clubs, and High School or College students, and anyone with a lot of energy and who is engaging and welcoming.

Time Commitment: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

T-Shirt Station Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers are needed to manage our pick-up station for t-shirts.

• 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
