Volunteers will assist in the set-up of Race area including tents, tables, registration area, water stations, signage and hang signage on tents.

Set up volunteers need to report to Camp Cheerful at 6:00am.

Details

Volunteers will assist in registering participants and distributing race bibs, timing chips and t-shirts. Volunteers must attend a training session the morning of the race and report at the volunteer area at 7:00am. Volunteer must be able to use a computer based program for registration.

Course Marshals/Cheerleaders : 8am-10:30am High Priority

Details

Course Marshalls help direct runners through the course. Also cheer on the runners and walkers! All course monitors/cheerleaders should be at the registration table no later than 8:00am. Course monitors need to stay on the course for the duration of the run.

Water Station: 8am -10:30am High Priority

Details

Volunteers will work at each water station, filling cups and placing on table for runners and walkers to retrieve. All water station volunteers need to be at the registration table at 8:00am. Water stations volunteers should stay at their stations until all runners and walkers have passed. Volunteers should clean up their station as best as possible only after all the participants pass, and do not leave stations unattended.

Details

Volunteers will oversee the set up and distribution of post-race food and water. Volunteers need to report to the volunteer registration tent by 7:45am.

Assist Hermes with timing at mile markers. Volunteers need to report to the registration tent by 7:30am.

Details

Volunteers will guide and assist participants with overflow parking on the north end of the Strongsville Holiday Inn parking lot . Volunteers will guide participants to the shuttle buses to take them to Camp Cheerful.

Volunteers will direct traffic into the Camp Cheerful site, and direct to offsite parking at Holiday Inn when Camp Cheerful lot is full. Volunteers will also manage traffic on both sides of the one way bridge and in the Camp.
