Saturday, August 29th at 6:00 a.m. Help set up barricades, water trailers, recovery area, set up medal display area, and whatever else is needed AND stay until all runners have finished to help take down barricades, clean up trash, load cars, etc. One volunteer (vehicle required) will need to place the mile marker for mile one and mile two along the course. Barricades will be set up at the finish line at Broadway/NE 1st and at Broadway/Main. Dress the barricades with MWR liners. Once the race starts, please help with encouraging the finishers to "keep moving" to keep the finish line area clear.
During the run, please help to distribute water to the runners at the finish line. Must be willing to move open cases of water and place in ice, reloading as necessary. Must be willing to DIG through the ice trough to find bottled water when necessary.
