Turn Around Team 1 High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

We will have 2 groups of 3-4 people on Turn Around Teams. These volunteers will be at major turn around locations on the course for half marathon and 10K runners on the course.
Turn around team 1 will be out where the Spring Water Trail crosses Telford Road towards Boring. Runners will NOT cross Telford.
The 10K and Half Marathon Sweeper will report to the turn around team when they are the last on the course!

*Minors are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by parent/guardian.

Spring Water Corridor and Telford Rd. near Boring.

Turn Around Team 2 High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

We will have 2 groups of 3-4 people on Turn Around Teams. These volunteers will be at major turn around locations on the course for half marathon and 10K runners on the course.

Turn Around Team 2 will be hanging out where Butler Creek Trail meets Binford Lake Parkway in Gresham. Runners will NOT cross the road, but turn around to go back down the trail.

*Minors are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by parent/guardian.

Butler Creek Trail and Binford Lake Parkway Road in Gresham.

Course Cheer and Direction Support 1 High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

We will have 3 locations on the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon courses for course cheer squads, who will also assist with direction support at our major turns. Each location will host 3-4 volunteers.

Course Cheer and Direction Support 1 will be located on the corner of Regner Road and SE Elliot Drive. 10K and Half Marathon runners will be coming up the Spring Water from Boring and turning up Regner to head back to the Saddle Butte Trail through Elliot Drive.

*Minors are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Regner Road and Elliot Drive.

Course Cheer and Direction Support 2

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

We will have 3 locations on the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon courses for course cheer squads, who will also assist with direction support at our major turns. Each location will host 3-4 volunteers.

Course Cheer and Direction Support 2 will be on the Spring Water Trail and direct 10K and half marathon runners to turn up to the Butler Creek Trail. You will see runners as they make their way back down to the Spring Water and you will help direct and cheer them towards Main City Park.

The 10K and Half sweepers will report to the group when they are the last on the course.

*Minors are allowed to volunteer if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Where the Spring Water and Butler Creek Trail meet.

*Volunteers can park at the end of SW Mawcrest Drive and walk in towards Portland on the trail. This will be about a a 5 min walk from parking.

3-4 volunteers needed to support a water/aid tent station for our 10K and half marathon runners just after the Spring Water Corridor crosses 252nd Avenue headed towards Boring, OR.
