Details

Information Table volunteers will help answer questions about the event, direct people to where they need to go, assist with checking in volunteers, and distribute packets to 5K participants. Volunteers may be asked to be a "gofer" and help where needed. This task (except for gofers) is performed seated and in the shade.

Event Set Up

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Set Up Volunteers are asked to arrive early and set up event area. This may include but not limited to setting up tables, "building" the finish line, and setting up food area. Check in at Volunteer table.

Course Management

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Management Volunteers will be assigned a location on the course to direct runners/walkers. A chair will be provided, bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and whatever you may need for comfort and protection. Volunteers will stay on the course until all participants have passed your location and an event sweeper releases you. Cheering for and supporting participants encouraged!! Check in at Volunteer table.

Parking

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Parking Volunteers will assist Parking Leads with setting up parking area and directing motorists to event parking. Check in at Volunteer table.

Family Activities

Details

Family Activities Volunteers will assist with organized activities (TBA) at the event. Check in at Volunteer table.

Food Service Helper

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Food Service Volunteers will assist cooks with lunch...serve, organize lines, refresh food items, keep area tidy. Volunteers are asked to stay until event ends or food runs out. Check in at Volunteer table.

Event Clean Up

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Clean Up Volunteers will take down all event set up (parking, tables, cooking area, finish line, etc) and leave Keizer Rapids beautiful. Check in at Volunteer table.

Foot Pursuit Committee

At least 19 more volunteers needed.

Details

Please sign up here only if you are on the 5K Foot Pursuit Planning Committee or already have a task with KPD or SO. You will not necessarily be stationed at a Volunteer Task, but you will need to check in when you arrive at the Volunteer/Information table, get an ID badge, and be logged in as an event volunteer (with all the benefits that affords : )
