Bib & Timer Table Volunteer High Priority

Details

This volunteer position will be the first point of contact for our race participants. Ideally, there will be 2-3 volunteers at this table to pass out assigned race bibs and chip timers to each participant and introduce them to the race (Where to go, starting time, and post race details.

Near race starting & finish line at Salem Riverfront Park.

Turnaround Point Waver Medium Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This volunteer position will be responsible for standing at the turnaround point on the race route, directing participants to turnaround.

Location

Salem River Front Park. 1.6 miles in to the race.

Refuel Station Attendant Medium Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This volunteer position will be responsible for attending the refuel table, filling water cups as needed.

Set Up and Take Down Crew Medium Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This volunteer position 1 will be responsible for assisting in the set up and take down of the race. These needs will be 1 hour prior to race start time, and up to 1 hour after the last race participant.

Race Announcer High Priority

This volunteer task is full.

Details

This volunteer will be responsible for speaking at the beginning of the event. They will share details of the event, thanking participants, and sharing info about the charities money is being raised for. This person will also share award for the first 3 participants to finish.
