Main Aid Station Runner Support High Priority

In this role volunteers will support runners as they pass through the main aid station. Volunteers will prep aid station food, fill water bottles, and provide general runner support.

Main Aid Station Setup High Priority

Details

In this role volunteers will setup the main aid station. Tasks include unloading equipment, filling water coolers and setting up tables/tents to support the runners throughout the day.

Main Aid Station Cleanup High Priority

Details

In this role volunteers will assist with cleaning up the main aid station and start/finish line after the race. In this role volunteers will discard unused items, clean tables/water coolers, break down tents, and other general duties.

Parking Medium Priority

Details

In this role volunteers will assist with guiding participants to the correct parking areas. Volunteers will be briefed on parking locations and rules based upon race distances. A assertive attitude and loud voice as helpful as well.

Packet Pickup/Registration High Priority

Details

Volunteer will provide runners with race bibs, socks and/or shirts at Pro Bike and Run in Robinson on Friday June 30 or at the start/finish area on race day.

Trail Clearing/Marking

Details

These events will take place on Wednesday evenings the 4 weeks prior to race day. Folks will meet at either Gilbert Love parking area or the old park office. Emails will be sent to all registered volunteers prior to the weeks event.
Volunteers will be using manual tools to walk the trails in Settler's Cabin and clear vegetation as needed. Plan to be exposed to lots of vegetation and dress accordingly. Some have reported poison ivy exposure but this varies largely from year to year and group to group. All tools will be provided but please bring work gloves and hydration. This can be a strenuous exercise session.
