Water Stations

At least 18 more volunteers needed.

Details

The role of each individual at each water station is to set up table, fill up cups with water/gatorade, hand water to runners, pick up and discard cups into trash bag, cheer on runners, and clean up area.

Location

There will be four water stations located at the 1.5 mile, before the causeway, along Mill Dairy Road, and at the turn-around-point of the 8 miler.

Sweeper

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

The role of the sweeper will stay behind the last runner to ensure all runners complete the courses. In addition, the sweeper will notify each water station to close down and clean up after the last runner has past the turn-around spot on the 8 mile course.

Course Marshall

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

Course marshalls will be resposible for ensuring runners follow the proper route for all three distances.

Location

Course Marshalls will be located at specified turning points along the courses. Each turn will also have an orange cone with an arrow pointing in the proper direction.

Traffic Controllers

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Traffic Controllers will be responsible for the flow of cars coming and leaving the race to ensure the safety of all runners.

Location

Locations will be dtermined at a later date.

Registration

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers at the Registration table will handle preregistered runners, new runners, hand out shirts, and clean up area once registration is closed.

Location

Registration will take place by the track at Council Rock North High School.

Food Station

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers set food table, maintain area, and clean up area at conclusion of race.

Location

Food station will be near the track at Council Rock North High School.

Photographers/Videographers

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We are looking for experienced photographers and videographers to cpature pictures before, during, and conclusion of race.

Location

Photographers and videographers will be located at start/finish area and at point along the Kids 1 Miler, 5K, and 8 Miler courses.
