Be a part of the crew who makes the race come to life. You'll help assemble bike racks in transition, set up fencing, lugging tables, etc. This requires lifting, hauling, sweating, and possibly cussing. Gloves are optional.

We're bringing body art back to triathlon! If you want to be the one to draw ages on the calf of participants, pick this one!
Once the race starts, you can ease into your new role of "pointer/yeller" at the dismount line.

Details

Transition is the fenced in area containing all the bikes, racks, clothing and excitement. Guard this barricaded fortress and secure its entrances from spectators. You'll also match the race number on the bike to the race number of the athlete leaving transition after the race.

The water safety fleet acts as the eyes and ears for issues arising during the swim. Swim Coordinator and medical staff will give you a thorough pre-race briefing on proper procedures. We can never have too many water safety out on the water during the swim. Choose this option if you can BYOK or BYO-SUP.

You may be knee deep in the water or you may be standing on land in the sand. Be prepared for both.

This is the smallest of the hydration station and is perfect for a family to host. Help swimmers hydrate on their way out of T1. Water only. Once all of the athletes have started the run, you are relieved of your duty and can go cheer on the course!

This is the perfect volunteer spot if you want to be done early and cheer at the finish line for your special person.

Don't Mess With Texas! - we all know runners can't aim and dunk a cup in the provided trash can so we'll have to help keep the area tidy.

Just a reminder - It'll be HOT. You'll be on your feet. Be prepared by wearing comfortable shoes and maybe that large brimmed sombrero you've been saving for a special event. Add sunscreen and sunglasses and you are ready for the party that's happening at mile ONE!

PS. Don't Mess With Texas and help clean up cups.

Remember - you will be on your feet in the HEAT. Comfy shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are highly recommended. Bring your outdoor speaker and favorite playlist to encourage runners to pick up the pace!

This station will be set up at the Turtle Bridge on Kirby's Knack Drive right around the 2 mile mark.

A barran asphalt road turns into the photo perfect finish line. Take part in the transformation. You'll then get to smile as you crown athletes with a finisher’s medal and guide them to the post race tent. Athletes finishing out a long morning will appreciate a strong shoulder to lean on.
