• Provide directions for parking, to registration, & start-line area
• This is a standing only position
• Volunteers will be wearing reflective vests

Set Up Race Day High Priority

You must be 15-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

SET-UP Volunteers Duties:
• Requires ability to lift 25-50lbs.
• Lift/ Load/ Unload/ Set up tables
• Lift/ Load/ Unload/ Set up canopy tents
• Set race signage @ entrance road, parking areas, & course
• May be required to drive for signage placement
• May at times assist with vendor set up
• Safety competence needed*
• Tools: hammer/mallet/valid driver’s license

Hours: 6:30am-8:30am

*During road sign and course sign placement volunteer will perform safety assessment & report potential hazards to Race Directors immediately

Registration Desk (Race Day)

REGISTRATION Desk Duties:
• Must set up registration station
• Be detail oriented
• Capable of accurate computer data entry during race check-in
• Must confirm participant identification with Valid ID
• Distribute T-shirt &/or Patch &/or Prize correctly
• Maintain loss prevention awareness
• Friendly, welcoming, and cheerful disposition needed

• Must set up & break down table/station
• Must maintain handling of cups in sanitary manner
• Wearing of food safe gloves while distributing water is MANDATORY*
• Distribute H2O from BOTTOM of cup (palm)
• Fill cups (appx. 1/4 -1/2 only)
• Clear all course trash
• Remind runners/strollers NOT to STOP directly IN FRONT of station
• Cheer-Squad capabilities a must! Please encourage all runners!
• Course Marshall & Sweeper "Balloon Runner" passing indicates shutdown
