Details

You will assist our staff in distribution of the race numbers and event give a ways just prior to the event. We would like to to arrive at the race start by 5pm and you will be finished prior to the race start.

A preview on the tasks involved with this position:
Each pre registered racer will have an assigned race number. They will need to pick this up this number, 4 safety pins and their event bag.

There will be some who will be registering race evening. They will need to fill out a paper application and sign waiver
You can do this position and still participate in the 5k!

Location

The race start will be in the Striker Field parking lot in off of West Creek Parkway near 288 and West Creek.

Course water stop

Details

This position will make sure the on course water stop. You will help set up and pre-pour water as well as had out water to racers during the race.

A preview of the tasks involved with this position:
1.There will need to be 2 tables set up with the appropriate number of prefilled cups of water/Gatorade. (Cups are only filled about 1/2 way as runners will be grabbing them as the run past the station.)
2. Hand out water to runners during the race.
3. Rake up the used cups and place in provided trash bags.
4. Cheer for runners and have fun!

Location

The water stop will be setup within the Striker Field complex on roads closed to all auto traffic.

Exact location will be given upon volunteer checking race evening or in an email prior to race day.

Finish line water/food station

This position will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the finish line food and water station. All items will be provided to complete this task.

Finish line assistance will help with the race timers. No experience is needed. You will receive instructions from race times just prior to the race start and prerace via email.

Details

This position will drive the course after the event and collect the cones and the wind fencing stakes that marking the course. An empty SUV or pickup truck would be best.
