Volunteers may help with one or more the following duties.
Pre-Race:
1) Setup Volunteer - Help setup starting line area and course (e.g. popup tent, traffic cones etc.).
2) Check-in Volunteer - Check in pre-registrants and given them their bib, safety pins and timing chip.
3) Registration Volunteer - Assist individuals who are signing up to race and race day.
During the Race:
4) Course Marshal - Direct runners along the course at key points along the route.
5) Picture Taker - Use the event's digital camera to capture as many participants as possible.
Post Race:
6) Awards Assistant - Help pass out awards to podium finishers.
7) Cleanup Volunteer - Take down starting line area and gather course markings (i.e. traffic cones etc.).
8) Sweeper - Run or walk the course to ensure no participant is left out on course (also gather course markings).
