Our Volunteer Area leads will work together to assign you where we need you the most. You will have the option on the next page to tell us your top three choices among the following tasks:

Mandatory volunteer in-person meeting on 6/23 from 10am - 12pm at the Lakewood YMCA and Zoom meeting on 7/21.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

These volunteers must be able to climb and descend the steps repeatedly throughout the race. The primary concern is safety, so they pay close attention to each racer. It requires having the presence of mind to act with decisiveness if/when there is an emergency. Race marshals coordinate with their Area Lead, Field Lead, and the Medics. Safety training is provided so that Marshals understand the additional safety protocols and expectations.

Mandatory volunteer in-person meeting on 6/23 from 10am - 12pm at the Lakewood YMCA and Zoom meeting on 7/21. There will also be a mandatory Zoom safety meeting for race marshals.

Historically these positions have been invitation only, or under the auspices of another professional organization. If you are interested in working as photographer/videographer please contact the race director. The medical personnel are those associated with PC Medical Reserve Corps or the WA Army National Guard.
