Water Station 1 (1.5 mile mark) Medium Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

You will assist the Refreshment Coordinator and help set-up the hydration station. You will also offer each participant water. After the last participant have stopped by the water aid station, you will assist with the breakdown and clean up of the water location site. Thank you for helping us!!!!

Water Station 2 (3 mile mark) High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Food/Snack Distribution

You will help the Refreshment Coordinator and setup the food/snack at the designated location. Priority will be given to all participants who signed up for the race. They must have their bib in order for them to receive food/snack. Thank you for helping us!!!!

Course Route Support

Volunteer Cheering Squad On Course Route

Details

Do you like encouraging others? Do you like cheering people on? If so, this is the volunteer position for you. Your sole responsibility will be to encourage the runners and walkers make it to the finish line so that they can get their awesome finisher medal. Thank you for helping us!!!!

Cheering from 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (please indicate what time frame works for you)

Traffic Volunteer Officer High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

You will be ensuring that each race participant cross streets and intersections safely. Additionally, you will ensure that vehicles are also passing through those intersections safely.

Location

1st Intersection: Baird & Bram St

Traffic Volunteer Officer High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

You will be ensuring that each race participant cross streets and intersections safely. Additionally, you will ensure that vehicles are also passing through those intersections safely.

Location

2nd intersection: Olin Turville St and E Lakeside St. (when you cross unto John Nolen Dr-Machinery Row Path)

Awards & Recognition

Awards- Finish Line Medals

First off, thank you for your willingness to help with the cleanup. Your participation is very much appreciated. You will assist the Volunteer Coordinator and help with setup and cleanup after the race. Thank you for helping us!!!! Please indicate in the comment which time works for you.

- Setup 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Interim Cleanup 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Cleanup 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Parking Sign Placement Wednesday July 8th High Priority

We need a few good men and women to help us place parking signs along the course route to keep all the participants safe.

We will meet at the park from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Parking signs will be placed along Baird St. and Bram St.
