Woodinville Relay for Change : Bike or Run

Description

Woodinville Relay for Change: a virtual and social distance relay BIKE or RUN event.
·       Saturday, August 22nd from 7am-3pm.
·       This race is for runners, walkers, & cyclists who enjoy the outdoors.
·       The charity of choice for this event is Cascade Bicycle's Major Taylor Project.
 
How it works?
  • Team consists of 4 runners or 4 cyclists, including the team captain
  • The race is eight individual legs, in which each leg is 60 minutes in duration.
  • Team members will run or cycle two 1-hour legs. 
  • Teams will be either all runners or all cyclists.
 
Teammate #1 starts their first leg at 7am and their second leg at 11am. 
Teammate #2 starts their first leg at 8am and their second leg at 12pm.
Teammate #3 starts their first leg at 9am and their second leg at 1pm. 
Teammate #4 starts their first leg at 10am and their second leg at 2pm.
 
·       Members run on their own at their own pace and at any location.
·       Members will report their stats after each leg to the Team captain.  
·       By 3:30 pm on the day of the event, Team captains must report mileage to the Organizers.  More details will be sent after registration.
·       We encourage you to post your runs and share your experiences through the "Woodinville Relay For Change" Strava club page.
·       Results will be posted as teams complete each leg. An unverified total will be available throughout the event.
·       Top two teams in each category (run or bike) with the most cumulative mileage will be awarded a medal.
 
Registration:
·       Team captains register themselves and a team name, and pay a $50/team registration fee.
·       Every dollar of the registration or DONATIONS go directly to The Major Taylor Project
