Description

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! Online Registration is available here
Please note that registration is limited to 250 entrants. Register early!

In 2013 the Buckley to Orting (B&O) Half Marathon was separated from the Rainier to Ruston Rail-trail Relay and Ultra. The race will now have its own day - the last Saturday of July. Registration is only $60!

Due to wind damage and a tree taking out one of the four bridges along "The Loop" to South Prairie the course will be reconfigured for 2015. We will be building a temporary trail past the fallen bridge. If that is not finished by race day, we have permission to route the course through a neighbor's property and out his gate onto the trail beyond the bridge. Either route will be the same distance. See new course map here.

This year the race will start at the Glacier Middle school in Buckley (start map) and the course will descend across three out of the four beautiful bridges along "The Loop" to South Prairie before finishing at Orting's town park. The course uses the paved Foothills Trail to the extent possible (82%) and roads (8%), sidewalks (0%) and rough trails (10%) when not.

We hope to see you on July 25, 2015
