Hello Runners !
The Port Angeles Marathon Association is excited for the 2nd race of the 2022 Run the Peninsula Race Series on Saturday, April 22. Included in this email are reminders and resources for information you need to make Saturday successful.

CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION HERE 

RACE BIB PICK-UP
HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO PICK UP ON FRIDAY IF POSSIBLE - IN SEQUIM
FRIDAY, APRIL 21st  4:30-6:00 PM - Come down to SEQUIM - Barhop Artisan Pizza Sequim (845 W Washington St, Sequim, WA 98382) to pick up your race bib. 

SATURDAY, April 22nd- 7:30 AM - 9:15 AM - Pick up your bib at the starting line the morning before the race on the east side of the Railroad Bridge. 

PARKING AT THE RACE START
Railroad Bridge Park (1943 W Hendrickson Rd, Sequim, WA 98382)
There will be parking at the start of the race.Parking will be in the new parking area off of Hendrickson Road. You will see volunteers instructing you where to park. Please follow the volunteers to help with parking


CHECK OUT THE COURSE HERE
There are mile markers along the course for both the 5K and 10K. There will also be a large turn around sign at the 5K and 10K turn arounds. Thank you to the amazing volunteers for hosting water stations at the 5K and 10K turn arounds. 



 
RESULTS AND PHOTOS
All participants will have official timed results and free professional race photos. Results and photos will be available to check online after the race. You can scan the QR code on your bib to check your results and photos. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female for each race and 1st, 2nd and 3rd for male and female in each age category. You must be present to receive your awards. Awards will not be mailed out.  There will be no ceremony, be sure to check your results and pick up your award in you placed before you leave.

CHANGES / SWITCH TO VIRTUAL RACE
DEADLINE TO SWITCH TO VIRTUAL IS:
THURSDAY, APRIL 20th @ 8:00PM PST
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SWITCH TO VIRTUAL AFTER THIS TIME
If you need to make any changes to your registration or switch from the onsite race on Saturday to the Virtual Race you can make those changes HERE! You will need to login to your RunSignUp account and then select manage reservations. At the bottom of the page you can transfer events. Any other change requests should be emailed to the Race Director at rtp@runthepeninsula.com. 

BAG CHECK
 We will have bags available for you to use and write your bib number on, if you don't have your own bag. You can drop if off before the race and pick it up after.

FAQ's 

Can my dog join me? 
As just as we love dogs, unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the course due to our insurance policy, so please let your dog at home. 

Can I bring a stroller?

Yes, we encourage families to run with their kids. If you child is in a stroller and stays in the stroller the entire you don't need to register any child that is in a stroller.

Join us in the 2nd of 5 races in the 2023 Run the Peninsula Road Race Series, Railroad Bridge 5K / 10K. The 5K and 10K will be an out and back on the Olympic Discovery Trail. 

The 5K and 10K will start at 9:30 am Saturday, April 22nd at Railroad Bridge Park 

There is also a virtual option for the Railroad Bridge Run
