Weather Update! Due to the snow storm the race is delayed 2 hours. The half marathon will start at 10:30am and the 10K at 10:45am.
Join us on March 14, 2026 for Run the Green! The half marathon and 10K courses are out and backs on the Green River Trail, and along the way you'll enjoy scenery of the river and golf course. Flat and fast you won't want to miss this race. All participants receive a commemorative shirt, medal, free photo downloads, and post race hot soup!

Yes, dogs are allowed. We ask that you politely start at the back of the pack and keep your pup on a close leash.
Yes! Strollers are welcome at Run the Green. Just be sure to use caution, start towards the back, and bring snacks 🙂
The course closes at 12:30pm.
There will be porta-potties available at the start line and finish line area. There will be porta-potties out on the course at several areas.
Online registration will close at 11:59 pm two days before the race.
We are supporting Kent Food Bank and Emergency Services.
Yes, your friends and/or family can pick up your packet for you.
Yes if the race is not already sold out.
Yes! Free gear check is available at the start line. In an effort to reduce waste, we will not be providing drop bags, so PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAG. We will have identification tags for you to use.

Yes. Aid stations typically located every 2-3 miles, stocked with Clif/GU gels and Tailwind Endurance Fuel. Specific locations posted on race website closer to race day.
Porta-potties available at start line and finish line. On-course facilities vary by race – check specific race page for details.
All participants receive a custom bib, participant shirt, and finisher medal.
Top 3 overall male, female, and non-binary runners. Age group awards in 5-year increments. Awards must be picked up at race, not mailed.

Online registration typically closes 11:59pm the day before the race. Early registration recommended as prices increase closer to race day.
Yes, participants 22 and under or 65 and over receive 15% discount. Fill out discount form during registration.
