Pack The Park Fun Run Fighting Food Insecurity one step at a time!
Join us for The 8th Annual Pack The Park 5k benefiting Backpacks 4 Kids and organizations supporting the schools in the Shoreline School District.
Now more than ever, the Friday Food Packs program is an essential service for students experiencing food insecurity. The Food 4 Kids Shoreline provides supplemental food to students in the Lake Forest Park and Shoreline communities during the school year.
We are officially back in person and want to celebrate Pack the Park. This year, we will start our 5K in Animal Acres Park and walk through the streets of Lake Forest Park to complete our route back to the Park. We plan to celebrate our achievements by gathering as a community with food, games, and entertainment. This year is sure to be a special one!
Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for students; all participants receive a 2024 run medal.

We have expanded our reach to include more community partners working hard to provide much-needed assistance to those facing food insecurity in Seattle, Lake Forest Park, and the Shoreline area.
Due to the pandemic, the need is even greater in our community. Your participation and donations will help ensure that, during difficult times, students and families will have additional, much-needed support—the Friday Food Packs, Food4Kids Shoreline, & Hunger Intervention Program (HIP).
A portion of each registration and 100% of the donations will benefit the organization directly. Please take a moment to donate, as no amount is too large or too small.
This is our 8th year doing this fun run, and we look forward to seeing you in person at Animal Acres Park on May 11, 2024.
