May 18, 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the historic Mt. St. Helen’s eruption (side note- probably the 40th anniversary of the last time face masks were widely worn in the PNW also). Negative Split has created special 40mile run challenge in honor of this event.  Our last challenge was so popular and successful at giving back thousands of dollars to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, that we are continuing that effort. A portion of all registrations will go back to small businesses locally!

How it works:

Register between May 18 - June 7, 2020. ($35)
Receive a commemorative soft feel shirt.

From the day you register, you have 10 days to complete 40 miles of running.

Log your miles on our results logging page. We encourage you to log them daily to better keep track of your tally.  If you are participating in the team challenge, then only the primary person registering will log the miles for the total team under their name

We will start shipping shirts in the first half of June.

1. No ellipticals or bikes
2. No daily activity do not count.  These need to be workout miles. If you are going out for a speed walk workout, then that can count, but daily walking around the house does not.
3. You can complete the mileage in as many sessions as it takes, but must be completed in 10 days.
