Mini Milers - Youth Program

INTRODUCING: Fleet Feet Fox Valley's new youth training program, Mini Milers!! 

Mini Milers is open to kids in grades 3-8 (ages 7-14). It is pay-your-age, up to $12 (a one-time pay-your-age fee gets you 8 weeks of fun and fitness!!). We will meet Sunday's from 3:30-4:30PM April 19 - June 7. We are meeting at Appleton West's track. The coaches will begin each "practice" with different educational topics each week to help the kids grow in their running abilities. The training will include a group warm-up, a fun run, and group stretching at the end. Parents are encouraged to run with the kids, but don't have to! If you have your own workout planned, feel free to go run while your kids are running! After each run, we will have a trail mix bar so that our participants can eat a healthy snack to refuel after their hard work! All paces are welcome, as always. Throughout the duration of the program, we will keep track of how many miles each participant runs, and give them awards at each milestone (5K, 10K, 13.1miles, and 26.2miles)! The participants are encouraged to run the Bellin Kids run or the Bellin 10K on June 13 as their graduation race, but it is completely optional! Our goal is to get kids moving!
