Moonlight Meltdown 5k, Sunset Safari 10k Hybrid/Crossover Trail Run, Lakeview 1/2 Marathon

Welcome to the 13th Annual Moonlight Meltdown 5k/10k. Brought to you by The Snow Runners LTD & Belgium Fire and Rescue Dept.

Come run or walk with us Saturday, April 25th for our 13th annual race!  This year's chip-timed event will start and finish at Kyote's Bar and Grill in Belgium. Each runner receives a Custom Race T-shirt and plenty of food & drinks and a chance to win some cash raffles following the race at Kyotes Post-Race Party.

Come be part of the 13th Annual Moonlight Meltdown!  All proceeds go towards Belgium Fire and Rescue Dept., Aurora Cancer Care Grafton and Snow Runners Ltd. 

This year features three incredible course options:

1. NEW: Lakeview Half Marathon (13.1 miles)- STARTING AT 4:40 PM:
   - An awesome mix of rural views and lake views, with the stunning landscape of Lake Michigan, plenty of farms, animals, even a buffalo farm and a loop through the old mining town of Stonehaven in Harrington Beach State Park along with the beautiful views of Quarry Lake, wildlife surrounds you in the park! 
   
   
2. SUNSET SAFARI 10K- STARTING AT 6:50 PM:
   - A 5.0 mile road course with a 1.2 mile trail run right in the middle of the course, through the majestic Harrington Beach State Park right down the Snow Runners LTD Snowmobile Trail. It is a mowed grass path with a few rolling hills and lots of beautiful scenery! There are also some elevation changes throughout the course to make this course not only awesome, but just a little bit challenging! Sunset Safari Trail Run may have a few wet spots on the path, so please be prepared.

   Sunset Safari has 3 water stations throughout the course, they are at 2.22, 4.15, 5.60 and of course the finish line 6.2 miles.

3. MOONLIGHT MELTDOWN 5K RUN/WALK- STARTING AT 8:00 PM:
   - A very fast, flat road race that takes you through the streets of Belgium, highlighting a pass by our Fire Department and our FULL MOON Sponsor Plus Group Wealth Advisors and finishes back at KYOTES with a post race party. This is a very flat course that is extremely well lit by not only the Moonlight, but also with LED lights on snowmobile trail markers and cones!
