Description

Trail Blazer Challenge

Trail Blazer is more than just a challenge; it's a journey of support and awareness for our veterinary community. In many of our challenges we choose a charity to donate to and this time we have chosen to partner with Not One More Vet (NOMV), we're embarking on a mission to raise awareness and provide support to veterinarians who may be facing challenges.

Just like our previous challenges, Trail Blazer invites riders to log miles and hours with their horses or on your own leg power while contributing to a meaningful cause. For each entry fee, $5.00 will be donated to NOMV to support their efforts in providing resources and a community for veterinarians in need.

NOMV is dedicated to promoting mental wellness and preventing suicide among veterinary professionals. Through initiatives like lifeboat.nomv.org, they offer a safe space for veterinarians to connect, share experiences, and seek support.

By participating in Trail Blazer, you're not only logging miles; you're blazing a trail of awareness and support for our veterinary heroes. Together, we can make a difference and create a more supportive environment for veterinarians.

Completion Awards:

Trail Blazer Completion Medal
Special Recognition Patch, sticker and dog tag.

Tracking Your Progress:

You can track your miles and hours using various methods, including fitness apps, calendars, notebooks, and our supportive Facebook group. We encourage you to choose the method that works best for you and join us in making a positive impact.

Join us on the Trail Blazer journey as we ride to support our veterinary community and raise awareness for mental wellness. Together, we can be the change and show our appreciation for the dedicated veterinarians who care for our beloved animals.

Real life rewards.
Not only will you be helping NOMV and supporting preventive programs, you will be rewarded in real life by having a commemorative medal mailed to you that celebrates the 100 Challenge.   You may choose to log miles or hours for this challenge.   Some may choose to log 100 hours of working with their horse, or volunteering 100 hours to an organization.   We are here at WARHORSE Endurance to help cheer each other on, to stay motivated and also to promote and support organizations such as Not One More Vet, to give directly to NOMV go to this link:  Not One More Vet

Wait!  WHAT?  100 Miles? or 100 hours? 100 Miles All at once?  No, not all at once, these are called conditioning challenges for a reason, to log those important miles that you accumulate over time with your horses and to reward and motivate you to reach the 100 mile milestone award that recognizes the conditioning miles you accumulate over time with your horse.  Some riders may get those miles in a month, another may take a year.  It is up to you.  There is no end date, we understand that life happens and you may need more time to complete.  It is okay.
