Jump River Run Dryland Race

The Jump River Run Dryland Race will be held October 30-31, 2021 at the Baum farm (N3438 Woodlawn Rd. Kennan, WI 54537). 

The race will begin on Saturday, October 30th at 9am with a mushers meeting at 8am. Start time is subject to change due to weather and temperatures. The race will begin at 8am on Sunday, October 31st. 

All classes are ISDRA sanctioned and IFSS accredited (except 2-dog bike is not IFSS accredited and 8-dog rig). 

Classes: 

• 8-dog Rig (Pro & RB) -2.2 miles
• 6-dog Rig (Pro, Sport, and RB) -2.2 miles
• 4-dog Rig (Pro, Sport, and RB) -2.2 miles
• 2-dog Scooter (Pro, Sport, and RB) -2.2 miles
• 2-dog Bike (Pro, Sport, and RB) -2.2 miles
• 1-dog Scooter (Pro, Sport, and RB) - 2.2 miles
• 1-dog Bike (Pro, Sport, and RB) - 2.2 miles
• Women's Canicross (Pro and Sport) -2.2 miles
• Men's Canicross (Pro and Sport) -2.2 miles
• Junior Canicross -1 mile
• Junior Wheeled - 1 mile

Purse:

Each class will get the same base amount of the purse. The classes with the most registrations will then have more of the purse added. 

• Registered Breed Pro: $500
• All Breed Pro: $1500

Registration costs go up $5/class on Wednesday, October 20th at midnight. 

We will have apple cider pressing on Saturday after the race. Bring your apples to make apple cider! We will also have some apples available for people to use and try out. 

In the spirit of Halloween feel free to dress up on Sunday for a chance to win a prize for best costume!

You can also sign up and pay for camping in person at the race. Payments must be made to Anna Threlfall.
