Description

Join runners and walkers of all abilities on Saturday May 9th for a family-friendly 5K to move a Parkinson's cure over the finish line!   The 608 Fox Trot is proudly partnered with Michael J Fox Foundation (MJFF) with proceeds going to MJFF.

All ages and speeds are welcome! Anyone just looking for a way to be active and fight Parkinson's disease! All registered participants will receive a t-shirt if online registered by April 22nd 2020 11:59pm. All are welcome to stay after for food, games and friends!

The 608 Fox Trot will take place on Saturday, May 9th, 2020 at 10:00 am in McFarland, Wisconsin at Lewis Park*.  Rain or Shine! 

*Please see map below for parking information. 

**Online registration will close Wednesday May 6th.  However participants can still register the day of the event! (Pricing will increase)**

Pricing: $20/person    $60/family of 4-5

  •       Pricing will increase for same day registration to $25/person and $70/family of 4-5 (t-shirt will NOT be guaranteed or promised)

Silent Auction

A silent auction will be available, for those choosing to participate, during the post-event festivities. All items are donated by our very generous sponsors. Bidding will close promptly at 12:45pm, highest bidder wins. All money will be donated to the MJFF. We will accept checks and cash.

The Route

The 608 Fox Trot is a 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk around McFarland, WI.

The  event will start and end at Lewis Park.  From Lewis Park participants will head west, go through the school campus and down to the High School parking lot. Participants will then cross the street (using the cross walk please) by the HS parking lot near True-Value then continue along Farwell Street towards Ginger Bread House and the pavilion. Participants will cross at the 4-way stop, proceed on the path that goes along Creamery Road, turn left on to Country Walk then right on to Holscher Road. Next participants will turn right on to Elvehjem which takes participants on the path again. Next, participants will cross over to the new bridge/path that goes through the marsh and end up at Marsh Woods Drive.  Lastly, participants will take a left onto Marsh Woods Drive which will lead them back to Lewis Park!

There will be signs/arrows as well as event volunteers along the route to keep you on track!

*The route will NOT being going through the Indian Mound School Forest this year as you can see on the map below. Instead the route is set to go through the school campus.

**Please see parking information.  It is greatly appreciated if participants do not park near upper Lewis Park due to limited parking and the route. Participants are encouraged to park in the streets identified and walk to event using lower Lewis Park. Thank You!
