Event Description
Celebrate the 4th of July with us and support the Mellen Friends of the Library’s Bellringer Run! This is a fundraising event to benefit the Legion Memorial Library. The course for both races begins and ends in downtown Mellen,WI. It is scenic, hilly, some gravel, mostly blacktop with water stations. Awards immediately following the finish of both races.
Race Times
Both the 5M and 2M Run/Walk will begin at 8:30am
*New this year will be a Stroller Division for both events*
Registration and Packet Pick-up
You may register online or stop by the Library. Early bird packet pickup will be July 3rd from 4 to 6pm in the Library, 106 Iron Street, Mellen, WI.
Prizes
Overall winners in the men’s and women’s divisions will receive a Sara Balbin steel sculptured runner on local granite. Ribbons will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in all categories.
Age Group Award Categories:
5 Mile: Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
2 Mile: 2 year divisions up to age 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
