Description
For the past 20 years, The Arthritis Foundation's Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest continues to be the longest running heritage festival 5K Fun Run which is routed down the path of Milwaukee’s beautiful lakeshore!
When you register for Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest, you receive FREE admission into Milwaukee Irish Fest, which is one of the largest Irish festivals in the world! You also receive:

Join our 5k run/walk and raise funds to help the 1.2 million adults and 6,000 kids in Wisconsin who are challenged with arthritis to live a better life, as well as, help chart the course to a cure!

- 8:00 a.m. - Day of Registration, Packet Pick-up and Kidzone Opens
- 9:00 a.m. - Rally Speech and Cashel Irish Dance Academy
- 9:45 a.m. - Pre-Race Warm-up
- 10:00 a.m. - Run Begins
- 10:05 a.m. - Walk Begins
- 11:00 a.m. - Post-event Celebration and Award Ceremony with More Dancing & Music
- 12:00 p.m. - Milwaukee Irish Fest Gates open
FAQ Event Details
- 5k run or walk along Milwaukee’s beautiful lakefront
- Warm-up and stretch session before the race
- Costumes won't slow you down! Bring your lucky charms. Run or walk with a pot-o-gold. Dance across the finish line like a leprechaun. Does anyone have more Irish spirit than you do? We want to see it! The best costume and most spirited contest winners will be announced and awarded prizes at the post-event celebration ceremony.
- Prize for Top Fundraiser & Top Fundraising Team
- Post-race celebration with beer, prizes and awards
- Awards for Top 3 males & Top 3 females by age category
- FREE post-race beer for participants over 21 at Lakefront Brewery Tent
- FREE admission into Milwaukee Irish Festival—Participants and volunteers should visit the wristband tent BEFORE the race starts. Wristbands will be distributed to volunteers on the list and participants with bib numbers. Please note that wristbands will not be available after the race.
City of Milwaukee parking is available along the lakefront. Parking is not guaranteed, and we do not have special event permits for participants or volunteers.
