Walk for Water 2022

This is a hybrid 5K Walk event. This is the 12th annual Walk for Water event in Mount Horeb. Participants who register can join us in person to walk the 5K walk or Walk in any location of their choice. The walk is a partnership with Living Water International and Immanuel Lutheran Church. 

Around the world, more than 2 billion people do not have access to safe water. In many countries, it is the women and children that walk for water, often more than three miles to gather water for their families. Oftentimes, the water collected is unsafe to drink. Our goal is to make a difference for some. 

Join us for the Walk for Water and together we will raise funds and awareness to fight the global water crisis by building safe water solutions for people in need around the world. We walk so others don’t have to.

Our focus this year is to provide clean water for a small community in Honduras. Special thanks to the Mount Horeb Community Foundation for their support of this annual community event.
