Heroes Running For Atlas

Event Description: Benefit 5K run for Atlas who was born June 24, 2016 and has been diagnosed with Pompe Disease, which is a very rare disease that is managed rather than cured!! All proceeds will go towards Atlas and his family for existing and future medical expenses but who knows maybe a cure…

Race will be a chipped timed event and if you want to have some fun, feel free to wear your “idea” of a Hero or Superhero costume to show your support. Strollers and wagons welcomed!!

9:30 am 10K start time

10:00 am 5K run start time

              Student 18 and Under: $13.00 online registration fee

11:30 am Standing Pretzel Run (ages 8 to 11)

                                               Registration Fee:             $5.00 online or same day registration fee

11:45 am Penguin Run (ages 4 to 7)

12:00 pm 50’ Scuttle (ages 3 and under)       

                                               Registration Fee:             $5.00 online or same day registration fee 

12:15 pm SERIOUS 1Mile Beer Run-4 person relay (ages 21 to 40)

                                                Registration Fee:           $40.00 per team includes 4 beers

12:30 pm SERIOUS 1 Mile Beer Run-4 person relay (ages 41 and older)

                                                Registration Fee:          $40.00 per team includes 4 beers

12:45 pm Family Style 1 Mile Beer Run-8 person relay: 4 kids to run ¼ and 4 adults to drink the beer

1:00 pm Tire flipping MEN

1:15 pm Tire flipping WOMEN

Online pre-registration for 5K and 10K T-Shirt option to close September 22, 2019 at 5:00 pm. Online registration will remain open for ALL events until October 10, 2019 till 1:00 pm with a NO T-SHIRT OPTION on the 5K and 10K races

*Packet pick up and new registration will be available at Hatten Park, center pavilion on October 11, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and morning of race from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.

Awards for 5K and 10K: Medals given to the top male and female finisher in the following age groups

12 and under

13- 19                                      40-49

20-29                                       50-59

30-39                                       60 and older
