Snekkevik Ski Race

The Snekkevik is one of Wisconsin's oldest ski races held each year at Nine MIle Forest near Wausau WI.  The Nine Mile Forest Ski Trails are one of the top XC ski destinations in Wisconsin with over 30K in groomed trails.  There are a variety of races with varying distances and techniques to give you the type of race you are looking for in January.  The Snekkevik has races for all ages.

Due to weather related issues and the ability to groom appropriately, we have decided to cancel the adult races.    We will communicate with those signed up regarding refunds or registration deferrals.   

The High School and Middle School races have been pushed back two hours.   See the adjusted schedule below.

All races will be mass start.

10:00 AM –    Registration Opens
Cancelled – 12 K Classic Adults 19 & Over
12:00 PM – 6 K Classic HS Boys  – Classic
12:30 PM – 6 K Classic HS Girls – Classic
1:00 PM – 3.5 K Classic MS Boys  – Classic
1:20 PM – 3.5 K MS Girls – Classic
Cancelled – 12K and 24K Freestyle – Adults 19 & Over
1:30 PM –  1-2K Children’s Event 9 & under (not timed)
