Due to the unfortunate cancellation of the yearly 5k fundraiser promoted by the Union-Center Fire Department, ABI Insurance has created a virtual run/walk experience to raise money for the Union-Center Fire Department. The fundraiser will allow participants to complete the 5k distance from anywhere that they enjoy running/walking. Participants will have one month, spanning from August 1st to August 31st to complete the 5k distance. You can complete portions of the run/walk on multiple days, as long as you total 5k over the month. Participants will receive a t-shirt to wear during the time that they complete the 5k, and a medal for entering the event after its conclusion. To spread awareness of the event and to show the strength of this community, we recommend posting a picture or a short video of yourself in your t-shirt before, during, or after your run/walk on Facebook and/or Instagram and sharing it with ABI's accounts. Registration for this event will end on August 1st so don't waste any time! The cost for registration is $25. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Union-Center Fire Department.
