The Charles Town WV Day 5K Fun Run is a journey through some of the most prominent Arts and Cultural locations in Charles Town. Participants will run/walk a course that highlights the historic Happy Retreat and Fisherman’s Hall among other locations.
In an effort to empower the community to help save a life, we are raising money to buy an AED. --HELP US RAISE MONEY TO BUY AND AED DEVICE--
Additional race proceeds will provide scholarships for CPR training.
After the race, enjoy the Arts and Heritage Festival featuring vendors and artisans from around the region.
All 3.1 miles of the course consists of paved town streets. Much of the course is out and back. You will see the entire field pass you in the opposite direction throughout the course. Feel free to high-five and encourage each other. Experienced and beginners alike will find this course a lot of fun.
This is a self timed fun run. There will be a timing clock at the finish and we will celebrate the first place male and female with sponsored prizes. Results will not be recorded. Be one of the first 100 registrants and get a WV blue and yellow headband.
Price increase based on number of people registered. Price will never go above $30 Register early and save.
Race Day registrations is $35. Race day registration does guarantee headband.
Children under 13 participate for free but do not get headband.
