One King Sports is a registered 501 (c)(3) organization, established to challenge and change the status quo of organized youth sports. One King Sports is focused on the fundamentals of sports and on the character of those participating.
Proceeds from fundraisers like this race go directly toward providing sports seasons for area youth and give us the ability to provide scholarships to kids that need them.
Date: May 28, 2022 Location: VA Trail, and Harrison County Rail Trail, Clarksburg, WV Time: Registration begins at 7:00am. Race Start Time: Staggered start with 10K runners leaving first, then 5K runners following directly after. Official races start times are 8:00am.
Awards: Top 3 overall male and female trophies; Age group medals for both male and female in the following categories: (5K & 10K)
Age Groups: 5K ---> 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ 10K ---> 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-69, 70+
Course Description: 5K: An out and back course starting at the Freedom Shelter, running to a turnaround on the Harrison County Rail Trail, then back the way you came. Start and Finish are the same spot.
10K: Starting at the Freedom Shelter, you will take a right onto the VA trail for a full lap, then continue on the VA trail, out to a turnaround (the 10K turnaround will be past the 5K turnaround) on the Harrison County Rail Trail, and back the way you came. Start and finish will be the same as the 5K.
***These courses will be well marked and have plenty of volunteers to help guide you along the way.
Proceeds: The upcoming One King Sports seasons.
Entry Fee Information: $25 5K/$30 10K online early registration through May 26th, 2022. T-shirt/Hat cut-off is April 28, 2022. Race Day Registration will be $30 5K and $35 10K and does not include t-shirt/hat.
Giveaways: This year we will be offering a free race t-shirt, or a race hat with the cost of registration. You will also have an option to receive both for an added $15 fee.
Team Competitions: Be sure to sign your business team up for the Fastest Business and Largest Business Competitions. There will also be an award given to the Fastest Family.
