Description
Get your wheels spinning for the annual PEAKS to Conga bicyclists fundraiser and Shellebration on Saturday, June 22. This fun, non-competitive, fully supported ride starts en masse in Cody, Wyoming, and ends 66 miles down the road in beautiful Shell, Wyoming.
All funds raised go to PEAKS (People Everywhere Are Kind & Sharing) to help cover gas, grocery, and other non-medical expenses for cancer patients in the Big Horn Basin experiencing financial hardship. To date, we’ve raised more than $300,000 for our friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who are going through cancer treatment. Help us continue to share that kindness to those in need.
This is the 13th PEAKS to Conga bicycle ride! Without an awesome committee, sponsors, and volunteers this ride would not exist!
A LITTLE BACKGROUND ABOUT PEAKS TO CONGA: In year one, we started with only 20 cyclists and have grown to more than 175 cyclists last year. The ride started when Todd and Laurie Stoelk met the Conga Motorcycle Group and Flo Fuhr in Shell, Wyoming, who rode to collect money for cancer research and awareness. We joined their Conga line with a few friends on our bicycles and since then we have evolved into our own entity.
All funds raised through this fundraiser stay here in the Big Horn Basin for local cancer patients. This is a non-competitive, fully supported ride and is open to all levels of riders! We encourage non-riding family and friends to join us at the finish line Shellebration in Shell!
