Yes! Everyone who is coming to Walk and Roll should register on the event website. We have set registration fees based on your age and participation type. Please view all options on the "Registration Overview" page of this website
Yes! This is one of the benefits of our RunSignUp platform. We have a Registration Guide available to you on the "Registration Overview" page that walks you through adding additional registrants.
Participants who fundraise $100 by May 1st are guaranteed an event t-shirt and they will be available at pre-event Packet Pick Up or on event day. Any participant who fundraises $100+ after May 1st may receive a t-shirt at the event depending on quantity available after our order date.
CEI teams - more coming soon.
We do not have a required fundraising minimum but we encourage everyone to set a fundraising goal and use the tools we have to exceed that goal. Our suggestion is $100 per person and $1,000 per team, but the sky is the limit. Funds benefit the mission of the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society Walk & Roll Chicago is transitioning to a new registration and fundraising platform, RunSignup, to enhance the participant experience. This change will improve registration, fundraising, communication, access to event details, and more. Please contact Marlie & Em if you have any questions.
Yes, participants will need to create a new RunSignup account during registration, unless they already have an existing RunSignup account from other events.
No, Society Accounts used for the 2025 and prior Walk & Roll events will not work on the new platform. A RunSignup account is required.
No, your address book from your previous Society Account cannot be transferred. However, RunSignup allows you to import contacts in multiple ways, and once uploaded, your address book will be saved for future use. Please visit the "RunSignUp & Account FAQ" page on this website to learn more.
No, donor history will not carry over. If you participated in the 2025 event, you can download your donor list as an Excel file from your previous dashboard to keep a record of your supporters. Please visit the "RunSignUp & Account FAQ" page on this website to learn more.
No, the FUNdraising App is not currently supported. There are aspects of the new site that will allow for similar features and integration with an app is being explored as a possibility in the future.
